THE ASSOCIATION OF MOSCATO D’ASTI PRODUCERS S.C.A.

"Produttori Moscato d'Asti Associati" s.c.a. gathers about 2.300 wine producers of d.o.c.g. Moscato d'Asti grapes, 850 of which are associated in 8 transformation cooperatives. In any case, all our associates are agricultural entrepreneurs.
Our associates in the three provinces that constitute the origin area of Moscato d'Asti d.o.c.g, Alessandria, Asti and Cuneo, represent 40% of the companies listed in the register of d.o.c.g. Moscato wineyards.
Since our association represents the majority the producers, we can properly face all the challenges connected to the European unification and take Moscato into the third Millennium.
Our Association, established ex Reg. U.E. and Italian law, works according to the economic and social goals provided in the European law as well as in our Statute.
Thanks to this approach we will be able to protect and promote the Moscato Bianco grapes, from which "Moscato d'Asti" and "Asti" d.o.c.g. wines are produced, improving the profitability conditions in the agricultural sector thanks to better commercial relationships, and improved market position for subscribed companies.
We offer our subscribers constant legislative-information and technical-economic counselling.
On the other hand, our Association focuses its main activity on the managing of the InterProfessional Agreement, which regulates the sale of d.o.c.g. Moscato grapes and must from agriculture to industry, as well as on the promotion of the product through campaigns and initiatives addressed to the consumers.
